Good to know

A place to settle in and gather with family and friends, the main living space offers a free-standing midcentury fireplace and complimentary wood, table for board games and puzzles, interest books, bluetooth/record player combo with classic vinyl, and an extra cozy Poly & Bark sofa sleeper for two. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking at home and includes all new appliances, dinner and drink ware for six, plus options for ALL the coffee (drip, press, pour over, regular and burr grinders). Complimentary herbal tea, hot cocoa and Cafe Vita coffee are provided. An updated bathroom includes vintage Singer sewing machine vanity and complimentary bath and body products from Public Goods, soothing rain shower head, and both quick-drying Turkish and buttery soft waffle towels to dry off after your shower or a relaxing dip in the hot tub. In addition to the sofa sleeper, there are two dedicated bedroom areas. Downstairs is a bedroom with a queen size bed and twin trundle allowing for flexible sleeping arrangements. Enjoy the topography wallpaper reminiscent of the changing elevation of the Olympic Mountain range. Upstairs is an iconic and spacious a-frame ceiling sleeping loft where you’ll find the primary bedroom space. A flex closet space provides ample storage for clothing and full size washer and dryer combo. Additional sitting area with a tv is the perfect place to cozy up with a good book or movie. Both bedrooms offer super soft (and perfectly wrinkly:) linen sheets and Pendleton wool blankets, as well as views overlooking a forested community green belt. Out on the front deck you’ll find a six-person hot tub, lounge seating and an all-weather extra stretchy hammock for hanging under the trees. Dining table for six and BBQ with tools and counter space for summer and shoulder season grilling adds to the vibe. A fenced side yard for little ones and pooches alike also includes a sitting area with extra durable Polywood adirondack chairs. Kick back and watch native Trillium flowers pop up from the rolling moss in early spring. In the summer months you'll also find a rope tunnel and extra large saucer swing. Out in the extended yard is a Solo Stove fire pit and more Polywood adirondack seating for s‘mores and after-dark hang outs. Recreational shed with kayaks, picnic gear, yard games, scooters, bicycles, snow play and more all available for use during your stay. Helmets and life jackets for both adults and children provided. This property is everything you want in a low key cabin surrounded by a truly exceptional regional outdoor playground. Message us for any details not included!

Absolutely lovely location. We loved the forest themed decor, very appropriate for the surroundings. Walkable neighborhood, with a stream that we could walk along. It was nice that the TV was out of the way, it encouraged us do do art and play games. We saw a few neighbors and they were all friendly. The induction stove was new to me, but we figured it out. We would definitely come back

We had booked this cabin as we were going to look around the Olympic national park. We were going to be out all days but after coming to this cabin we realised how wonderful this cabin was and we changed our plans to enjoy the cabin and its wonderful surroundings. They have everything that you could think off and more. My family and I had a wonderful time in the cabin and would highly recommend it.

Our stay was amazing, and the private lake is so beautiful. As many of the other reviews have highlighted, the house is very well set up and basic essentials in the kitchen are provided. We used the kayaks on the lake, the bikes in the shed, and the hot tub every day. The house felt very comfy and warm, and sitting outside was very peaceful with virtually no noise other than nature. We would definitely come back and would highly recommend. The Host is very responsive and quick to answer any questions.

Such a wonderful spot! Worth the short drive from Seattle to enjoy some nature and the lake. Jessica and Nate have just about everything you could need to enjoy a summer weekend. Next time we’ll try out the hot tub and fire pit—sad due to burn ban. But we made s’mores on the grill. We’d make this an annual stay!
